Claudia and Ella were on yet another mission, currently somewhere in Mirkwood. Unfortunately for Claudia, it was an uncharacteristically sunny Mirkwood, with a fairy-tale caste that looked like Mad Ludwig himself could have built it, and the story was ghastly enough that two Uruk-hai in the forest would be noticed before two elves. Thus, the older and paler agent clung to the trees, waiting solely for nightfall so that she could join her sun-loving partner.

As Ella capered around the forest, a joyful grin spread across her beautiful face. Her hair looked the color of delicious caramel as it danced in the soft breeze that blew through Mirkwood. Her eyes seemed different colors from different angles-from here, brown, there, a mossy green, and over there, they appeared a lovely shade of bright blue. The younger girl's body was unmistakably that of a dancer, as she was long-limbed, well muscled, and lean.

Claudia was as different from her partner as night to day, yet they were two sides of the same coin. Where Ella was blonde, she was dark haired, with a penchant for redder hues, and Ella's tanned skin was offset by Claudia's ghostly countenance. Even their personalities were like Yin and Yang-fitting together perfectly.

"The ‘Sue jumps forward three days," Ella commented, checking the Words mid-bounce. "Should we portal there, or just wait it out? I'd like to stay here and get a tan, but you'd probably just like to get it over with," she added as she bounded over to Claudia.

Claudia hesitated for a moment. She would prefer to skip the sunlight and bunnies gamboling about, yes, but maybe this time she should let Ella relish in the rare commodity of real sunlight that the she knew her partner missed so much. "We'll wait. Three days isn't that long, and we can steal some swords or bows," she replied with a smile.

"Okay!" Ella chirped in response. "Thanks, Claudia!" She threw her arms around the brunette and placed a chaste kiss on her full and crimson-colored lips. The ‘chaste' part soon ran away in fear as the two began snogging on the forest floor.

That night, they discovered that the mini-replicator that they always brought on missions could replicate a LOT more that just food and drinks.

The next morning, Ella woke up wrapped in the alabaster arms of her partner, glancing at her own hands and feeling her neck with a wince. Claudia wasn't kidding about biting like a vampire! Still, thanks to the Improbability Drive she had recently installed in her CAD (she claimed she had walked in on a CAD and the Heart of Gold going at it and taken the offspring, but most people don't believe her. On the other hand, an Improbability Drive was just the device to make that possible. Or probable.), both of their appearances were still as flawless as ever-no tangled hair, even!

Claudia woke up a few minutes later, blinking in the sunlight that threatened to give her the slightest bit of pigment in her skin for a few seconds, before letting out an uncharacteristic ‘Eep!' and bolting to the shade.

"You know what would make this even better?" Ella said.

"Hm... Techno-Dann in between us?" Claudia guessed.

"Well, I was actually thinking of Figwit, but Techno-Dann is definitely a better idea," came the reply.

As if on cue (because TPTB were probably watching this scene and laughing hysterically), a plot-hole opened up and dropped a very sexy Techno-Dann onto a conveniently (but unexplainably) placed bed.

"Hello, ladies..."

The mini-replicator had never been used so much.
