I find that I have quite enjoyed reading this story, and I congratulate you. The angst was worked in well, I am pleased to report, and contributed to darken the tone of the entire chapter, contrasting more pleasingly with the tearfully joyful climax, taking the reader by the hand to lead one to the egress through a series of trials that nonetheless paid out in full. I cannot wait for the sequel. ::Pleased, the eternal vampire nods, her midnight-hued hair rippling, and fades from this mortal plane... for now.:: |
